Olympics Of The Philippines • The Philippines is the first nation in the tropics to ever participate in the Winter Olympics Games. • The Philippines first athletes to compete at the Olympics Games were in 1924, making it the first Country to compete and win a medal in Southern Asia. • Filipino athletes have also competed at Winter Olympics Games on three different occasions since 1972, but not since 1994. • The National Olympics Committee of Philippines is the Philippines Olympics Committee, founded in 1911 and recognized by the International Olympics Committee in 1929. • Filipino athletes have won a total of nine Olympic medals, with boxing as the top medal-producing sport. • Philippines now holds the record for the most medals without gold because of Mongolia winning its first gold medal at 2008 Summer Olympics.

He was the fifth at the 2013 World Junior Championships and has won two senior international medals. In April 2012, Martinez tore ligaments in his knee. He landed his 1st triple Axel in competition at 2012-2013 Junior Grand Prix event in Lake Placid, New York. He finished 7th & earned a spot for the Philippines in men’s single-a 1st For his country. He graduated successfully out of High School.
