  3. Work conditions • There are mobile clinics for vets how are wanting to wonk with farm animals • Veterinarians work a lot of nights and weekends • Most vets work 8 to 10 hours a day. • Sometime vets must work in the middle o the night and go to work the next day

Training • If you want to be a veterinarian in the future take as may math and science class as possible in high school. • After high school you must complete 2 to 4 years of pre-veterinary studies at a college before you apply to veterinary school. • Once you are accepted by a veterinary school you need to take 4 more years to get you Doctor of Veterinary Medicine . • If they want to become certified specialists you must take residency at a vegetarian clinic.
