  1. An Update on Lenses Newport lenses are expensive! (Exactly what we want, but expensive. Tried calling to ask for free ones, but they didn’t answer so left a message) The glassblowers are going to ask other people. Disposable Camera Lenses aren’t good enough (and we can’t get them for free) Our new microscope is in! We have that lens and are working forward with the mechanical design for it (but this design is adjustable should we find another lens that works.)

  2. Bruce gave us the go ahead on our design, and is helping us with parts! And he said he’d machine this part for us by next week (longer than we’d prefer, but we can work on other things…) Started working on this end of our barrel. Tomorrow, we’ll go to Harvey’s again to buy some more small parts.

  3. Molly - Mechanical Sam - Calibration • cutting stuff up and assembling • buying extra parts • setting up lenses to test if they work (without adjustability) • calculating distances for barrel and lens placements • figuring our USB peripheral stuff (how that will work through python) • modification of software • have something that displays webcam feed • adding a text or picture overlay • researching lens stuff still • helping Molly with mechanical stuff Dani - Optics Chen - Software
