LINGOs Vision and Mission2011 • Vision: Anyone working to reduce poverty and alleviate suffering in the developing world will have access to world class learning opportunities at little or no cost • Mission Statement: LINGOs promotes sustainable global development by increasing the skills of the people delivering programs around the world • Through the application of state-of-the-art learning technologies • Through collaboration among organizations delivering services • Through public-private partnerships to bring new resources to the sector

Technology/Tools/Content Update • Web Conferencing Tools: • Default version will switch to Blackboard Collaborate v11 on or around December 31, 2011 • LINGOs support of Elluminate Live! v10 will end on December 31, 2011 • Blackboard Collaborate support of Elluminate Live! v10 will continue until December 31, 2012 • Additional “What’s New in Bb Collaborate v10” webinars by LINGOs on: • 10/20/2011 – 12:00 PM Eastern • 10/27/2011 – 8:00 AM Eastern • Session(s) in Spanish to be scheduled in November or December • LMS Administrators Community: • Updates coming soon

By implementing the tools we can optimize our resources, manage ongoing projects well and look for new opportunities – CIAM Panamá “A dream come true” - WVI Honestly I think that the PMD Pro training is the most important training that I have attended since I joined Plan 7 years ago, because it gave me the tools and a better understanding of what is expected and how to assemble a Project in a development organization like Plan We are using the Work Breakdown Structure, RACI and the whole PMPro Guide to prepare and write new projects and obtain financing from international organizations AMA - Guatemala
