  3. What do we do? • Provide information about and resources for: • Research • Graduate school • Careers in Psychology • Internships • Scholarships • Create a psychology community through: • Socials • Volunteering events • Trips • Fundraising events

  5. How to become a member: • 2 different types of membership: 1). General Membership 2). Certified Membership

  6. General Membership Requirements: 1). Application (available on the PSA website) 2).$25 membership fee for the year (or $10 per quarter) Benefits: 1). Access to exclusive content 2). Kaplan Prep course discount 3). PSA tote bag 4). PSA custom button 5). Graduation stole (for graduating members only)

  7. Certified Membership Requirements: 1). Fulfill general membership requirements (app and fee) 2). Accumulate 20 points by the end of the year *Points are obtained by attending meetings, fundraisers, and community service events Benefits: 1). All of the benefits of general membership 2). PSA Certified Member Certificate 3). Discount on graduation stole 4). End of the year banquet

Events this quarter: • Week 1: 10/2--UTC after-event • Week 2: 10/11—beach bonfire • Week 3: 10/15—Bakesale, 10/16—mentor/mentee bonding, 10/18--hike • Week 4: 10/23—bowling after-event, 10/26 Santa Monica Daycation!! • Week 5: 10/28—Pumpkin decorating, 10/29 fundraiser, 10/31—delivering Halloween pumpkins to HealthBridge • Week 6: 11/6—Mentor/Mentee debriefing, 11/7—operation Christmas Child • Week 7: 11/13—Movie after-event, 11/15—BWW fundraiser • Week 8: 11/20 Thanksgiving social
