Career Options • Arts and Communication Path • Business, Management and Technology Path • Industrial and Engineering Technology Path • Health Services Path • Human Services Path • Natural Resources and Agriculture Path • Be sure to choose courses in high school that follow the path you are interested in.

  3. 4 year College or University • GPA - last semester of junior year • ACT Score • Class Rank will no longer be calculated.

  5. A+ ProgramRequirements • Sign up anytime in the A+ Office. Mrs. Syron is the Coordinator. • Students must graduate with a 95% attendance rate, earn a 2.5 cumulative GPA or higher, score proficient on a Math EOC or ACT math score along with GPA, complete SAMS class and good citizenship with no drug or alcohol abuse

  7. A+ Program Benefits • The state pays for A+ scholarships to community colleges and state vocational technical schools. • In addition, several 4-year state colleges and universities are giving A+ scholarships. • 4 years to use A+

  12. Grade Level Classification You need 21 Credits to be on target to graduate.

  13. ELECTIVE CREDITS • Everything becomes an elective credit after you have the required number for graduation. • 4th math, 4th science, 3rd PE, 3rd fine art...etc • Academic lab/ Teacher Aide are not credit

  14. SCWest Sports Eligibility for Fall • 80% of maximum allowed credits • 3.5 credits or 7 classes • With Academic Lab/ Teacher aide can’t fail any class!

Download SCW Enrollment Book • Applications - SAMS and Broadcast • Check Academic History for credits needed. • Pre-requisites for courses for eligibility. • Alternatives – IMPORTANT Senior schedules are very tight with fewer options. • Teacher Aide is a form the teacher has and will staple it to your enrollment form. Each teacher gets ONE aide a semester.

  29. SENIORS WILL NOT GET SCHEDULES IF YOU DO NOT HAVE THE MCV4 VACCINATION All seniors need a meningitis (MCV4) vaccine before they start their Senior school year. This MUST have been given after the age of 16 and a copy should be turned in to the health clinic here at school.

  30. Enrollment Deadline Online enrollment will be during all English classes starting January 22th-25th Return forms to English Teacher

  31. What to do now???? • Download the enrollment book from Google classroom. • Compare and review all required credits to graduate with academic history. • Complete Enrollment form using the course guide cheat sheet to assist in course options. • Use Enrollment book to assist with what you do in class, what colleges need, etc. • Turn in completed form to English teacher!
