  3. DEWG Role and B2G short history • DEWG’s are the strategic arm of the SGIP, while PAPs are tactical (focused standards efforts). Other adhoc working groups can help define an issue. • B2G has tackled many issues in the past 2+ years: • Initial B2G roadmap—what are the standards gaps and barriers to interoperability • Architecture for interaction with the customer domain • Price based interaction leading to EMIX • B2G interface and ESI • Supporting Tariq with GB presentation on the characteristics and specific role and needs of C&I customers • Coffee klatch on interesting topics and relevant issues • Weather data model SGIP Grid-Interop 2010, Chicago, Ill

Current standards activities related to B2G • PAPs 3,4,9 leading to Energy Interoperation using EMIX and WS-Calendar • OpenADR • PAP 17 – ASHRAE 201P Facility SG Information Model • SEP 2 for residential domain power management • BACnet and LON developments SGIP Grid-Interop 2010, Chicago, Ill
