  2. Our history . . . NPMA founded in 1970 by Federal Government Contractors Each generation has its challenges and its legacy. .

What Shaped the History of Asset Management? 1787 - The US CONSTITUTION “Congress shall have the power to dispose of and make all needful rules and regulations respecting the territory or other property belonging to the United States . . . “ The PROPERTY “ACT” of 1949was enacted to provide a comprehensive plan for the acquisition, management, and disposal of Federal personal and real property resulting in the forming of the GSA.

  6. What Is the Future of Asset Management? ISO 55000 Asset Management Systems A set of interrelated or interacting elements of an organization to establish policies and objectives, and processes to achieve those objectives. Technology Emerging and increasing technological capabilities will greatly impact the Asset Manager’s abilities in the future. Global Business Global business consists of transactions that are devised and carried out across national borders to satisfy the objectives of companies, agencies, and organizations.
