  4. The IEMgr • Is multi-disciplined: • IT • Business process or function • One discipline will be primary, the other secondary: • Tp • TP • tp • tP

  5. IEMgr (Tp) • Primary orientation T, secondary p • Typically found in IS dept • Responsibilities include:

  6. IEMgr (TP) • Process experts who also have expertise in IT • Typically attached to a business function or process • Responsibilities include:

  7. IEMgr (tp) • Support business processes • Report to process or function manager • Able to suggest systems improvements, maybe even new technology applications • Role is supportive and operational

  8. IEMgr (tP) • The function managers or process owners • Capable of identifying technology applications to improve function/process • Implement technology applications through IEMgr (TP)
