Tuition Remission • $5,250 per calendar, 50% available for dependents • Covers part-time credit/non-credit courses at JHU only • Does not have to be job related • 120 days service for eligibility • Benefit extended to eligible retirees • Required Continuing Education Courses Outside of JHU • Full-time faculty and staff receive 100% remission via a funding transfer to their department for successfully completed and approved outside courses, conferences and seminars. • Courses must be required for the employee to maintain a job-required professional certificate or license regulated by the State Licensing Board to be eligible.

Tuition Grant • Eligible for ANY accredited, degree-granting institution. • Covers full-time, undergraduate studies • Covers up to 50% of each dependent child's full-time, undergraduate tuition and eligible fees* • Maximum payment is up to one-half of JHU's freshman undergrad tuition. $50,420 for 2016-2017 academic year • Payment limited to four years full-time, undergraduate study per dependent child • Eligible to end of year in which dependent turns 23 • If both parents are eligible employees you can qualify for double benefit
