  2. e-Governance activities of Panchayath Raj Engineering Department • Services: Registration of bidders, Publication,hosting, Authoristation,receipt and consolidation of bids. • Roll out status: In use since 2004 • Pilot project of asset management in Kodigenahalli Panchayath, Doddaballapura Dist. http://125.63.126.219:8080/rdpr

  3. e-Governance activities of Panchayath Raj Engineering Department B) e-Governance –Initiatives 1) e-Procurement : Proposed to provide following facilities • Free access to tender documents • NIT emailing facility • e-Payment facility for form fees and EMDs. • Online submission of tenders • Digital signature for vendors and Executive Engineers

  4. e-Governance activities of Panchayath Raj Engineering Department • Two levels of tender opening rights. • Level-1 : Accounts Officer • Level-2 - Executive Engineer • SMS gateway for sending NIT to registered contractors. • Reverse Auction Facility • 2) Office automation- • Administration and file tracking system in central office on pilot basis, to be extended to the sub-ordinate offices in phased manner.

  5. e-Governance activities of Panchayath Raj Engineering Department 3) Project monitoring system- Monitoring of the progress of projects 4) Asset management system- Creation of data base of assets created by the PRED. 5) Work of preparation of Computerised data base for the tanks coming under Zilla Panchayath has commenced. ISRO Bangalore is engaged in the same project.
