  1. Integrative grief counseling on phone: Aim and approach Grief and bereavement can encompass a broad range of feelings from anger to deep sadness. It is important to provide the grieving person with the necessary emotional support and counseling at the right time in order to ensure their well being. The bitter truth is that eventually, they will have to adapt to the particular loss or any other reason that is causing them the grief and that is not handled in the same way by every person. A certified grief counselor can help the person open up in ways others have failed to. That creates room for healthier communication and reason. When it comes to an integrative grief counseling on phone, it brings together multiple aspects of psychotherapy in order to suit differing individual needs. After all, the same techniques cannot work for all people. The aim of such counseling is to promote healing and to help retain the full emotional potential of the grieving person for a feeling of wholesomeness. In other words, it is all about bringing them back to a normal state of mind so that they can go on with their lives in a happier way. The process of integrative counseling includes a mix of the following:  Helping the person focus on fears or the cause of their pain and then, identifying what triggers that pain time and again. Helping them build a healthy alliance between mind and body so that they can move beyond their limitations and move towards greater life satisfaction. Drawing in several other approaches and a variety of modalities to cater to specific problem areas that tend to vary from person to person. Providing the necessary support through talking and discussion in order to make the individual brace up for the ways in which grief can strike- all at once, in smaller episodes or in a way that it completely consumes the person. A better understanding of grief itself and being prepared for it can further act as a source of strength for the person.    It is important to know and acknowledge the fact that grief is an involuntary condition but it can be overcome voluntarily. In severe cases when the grieving person is unable to cope with it all and insists to remain immersed in that sadness, it becomes all the more necessary to induce a unique degriefing process that involves a variety of approaches and techniques, both contemporary and traditional ones.
