  2. What is Dropbox? • Dropbox shared folders let you collaborate on a set of files. • When someone joins a shared folder, the folder appears inside their Dropbox, and syncs to their computers automatically.

  3. Dropbox • Dropbox has space to save files and pictures • Owner - The person who saves the file in Dropbox • The Owner can keep the file private but read the file on any computer, tablet or smart phone • The Owner can share the file with specific people and they can read the file anywhere

  4. Advantages • There is only one file • Therefore it is always the most recent or accurate file • The file can only be seen by people the owner wants to share with • The owner can share different files with different groups or people • The file can be accessed anywhere

  5. Access • Dropbox.com • Save on Dropbox like on your computer. • Save individual files, photos or folders • Upload anything saved on any computer • Access from anything that can get the internet: computer, tablet, phone, etc.

  6. Why Use Dropbox for WRJ? • Anything you want members to be able to look at any time • Agendas, minutes, balance sheets, other paperwork • Historical documents • Logos, pictures • Menus (Seder example)

  7. Why NOT use Dropbox ? • Limited space • People not comfortable with computers • Documents that should not be seen by the whole group • Keep a separate folder with different access
