  4. 2. Product Concepts (1/2) Panasonic New IP PBX Concepts (1) Converged IP Platform IP Platform integrated with the Traditional TDA Solution. (2) Smooth Migration Path For TDA User All current TDA100/200 systems can be upgraded to TDE system, just replace MPR card with IPCMPR card. (3) Easy installation And Management Same programming method as TDA system today. KX-TDE100 KX-TDE200

  5. 2. Product Concepts (2/2) TDE New Features : 1. IPCMPR Card 2. Virtual Slot and Virtual Card 3. Activation Keys 4. NT300 Series IP-PT 5. SIP Extension 6. VIPGW 7. High Density CS 8. Server Connection 9.Other Useful Features - Enhanced Walking Extension (Hot Desking) - Multi-Site PC Programming Tool - TDA -> TDE Conversion KX-TDE100 KX-TDE200

  9. 5. DSP Card (1/3) What is DSP Card (1/2) (1)Function The DSP is acts as a converter for the IP data (IP extension / IP trunk communication) and TDM data (PCM communication, which is used on the extension / trunk cards). Converter DSP Packet data Digital data (2)Difference between DSP16 and DSP64 DSP 64 is more powerful than DSP16. DSP64 DSP16

  10. 5. DSP Card (2/3) What is DSP Card (2/2) In addition, the card also performs the conversion between different CODECs (G.711 and G.729). If you want to use VoIP functions, you need to install DSP16 or DSP64 (Without a DSP it is possible to have peer to peer communication only). DSP 16 DSP 64 TDMside (Traditional) • IP Trunk PSTN MOH Non-Peer to Peer communication requires a DSP. DPT Ext. Pager IP-EXT: IP-PT SIPExt. SLT Service Tone Peer to Peer communication does not use DSP. MSG/SVM Doorphone IP-EXT: IP-PT SIPExt.

PCMC Menu item 1-1-MPR Virtual Slot-Select Shelf After installation of the virtual trunk and extension cards using the TDE PC Programming tool, IP trunk numbers and IP extension numbers are automatically assigned (Same as current TDA system). 4 Slot 4 Slot 7. Virtual Slot and Virtual Card (3/5) Each DSP card has a number of pre-installed trunks and IP extensions – If you wish to enable more trunks or IP extensions then you must obtain additional activation keys.
