  1. How Is The Old Testament Fulfilled? Mat 5:17-20 “Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them…”

  2. Fulfilled Does Not Mean Abolished Christ did not invent a brand new law.

  3. Teaching That The Law Of Christ Replaced The Law Of Moses Is A Doctrine Of Demons “Abraham obeyed My voice and kept My charge, My commandments, My statutes, and My laws” (Gen 26:4-5)

  4. Requirements For Entrance Into God’s Government 1. God’s Law must be accomplished in us. 2. Our righteousness must exceed that of the Pharisees. 3. God’s Law must be fulfilled in us.

  5. God’s Righteous Requirement “God sent His Son… in order that the righteous requirement of the law might be fulfilled in us” (Romans 8:4)

  6. Ceremonial Laws * Circumcision is fulfilled in baptism. * Passover is fulfilled in The Lord’s Supper. * Pentecost was fulfilled when God put His law in our hearts. * The Feast Of Tabernacles is fulfilled in the Great Commission. * Unclean foods are made clean by Gentile conversion (Acts 10).

  7. The Civil Laws Fulfilled when the government of God is established in the nations.

  8. Moral Laws Jesus was not contradicting Moses. He was contradicting their interpretation of Moses.

  14. A New Nature Is Required God creates a new creature, a new motive, and a new heart

  15. How Does God Do This? Faith comes by hearing and hearing by God’s word. He opens our understanding with the truth.
