  1. TEACHING CIRCUT ELECTRICITY Can these be used to model both circuit electricity basic concepts, series and parallel circuits, and R=l/A /a.c.?

  2. CIRCUIT ELECTRICITY What’s inside a straw ? What is it doing ? ( The molecules are moving , but there is no net movement !)

  3. CIRCUIT ELECTRICITY How can we make the air move ?

  4. CIRCUIT ELECTRICITY The same way we make anything move, apply a force ! (To make anything move, we need a force to accelerate, and continue to apply that force if there are resistive forces?

  5. CIRCUIT ELECTRICITY What does the force produce ? What happens when we increase the force?

  6. CIRCUIT ELECTRICITY What happens when we put 2 straws end to end ?

  7. CIRCUT ELECTRICITY What happens when we put 2 straws side by side ?

  8. CIRCUT ELECTRICITY Let’s compare different size straws Thin straws and fat straws Short straws and long straws

  9. CIRCUT ELECTRICITY Of course, we breathe in and out ! What happens to the flow of air ?

  10. I hope this idea is useful and not wholly unoriginal ! It’s definitely a lot of hot, or at least warm, air Thank you for listening Andy Bruno Alsager School
