  5. Find Any Program or Course in Your College • Never lose a course! • Always work with the most recent version. • Simple search capability

  6. Program Module • Set up the program (program and related outcomes) • Assign outcomes to courses • Build course configurations • Design program PATs (TSA) • Create program improvement plans

  7. Role-Based Editing Decide who can VIEW and who can VIEW AND EDIT

  8. Assign Roles by Project View and Edit Managed Through Roles

  9. Develop/Associate Outcomes Define criteria too Managed by the college. One change at the college –edits appear everywhere.

  10. Build a Course List Associated Courses • Child Courses • Courses the program owns. • Course information can be edited here.

  11. Assign Outcomes Assign outcomes to courses using a matrix Use levels you can customize

  12. Configurations • Layout multiple configurations: • Full time • Part time • Certificates

  13. Layout courses in semesters or terms

  14. Design Scoring Guides and. . .

  15. Multi-Columned Rubrics Store your TSA rubric in WIDS

  16. Assign the Rubric to a Course where it will be used! The rubric will appear in the course where assigned!

  17. Create Program Assessment Plans Link in documents or assign to someone in the organization If desired base it on a rubric in WIDS

  18. Analyze Results Plan for Improvement

  19. Request Approval

  20. Review Write review Item under review User Date

  21. Approve Pending Approve or decline Item under review Future date User Date Reviews

  23. Course Module • Design a course • Layout a syllabus • Create learning plans • Create performance assessment tasks (rubrics/checklists/scoring guides)

  24. Courses Course Outcome Summary: • Course information that belongs to the college (i.e. course description, number, credits, outcomes) • Common for all sections of a course • Subject to approval • Requires an editing role to make changes

  25. Course Outcome Summary DEVELOPERS CAN CREATE AND EDIT ALL USERS CAN VIEW AND USE DATA TO CREATE A SYLLABUS They cannot edit approved data

  26. COS: College Owned Data Populate data common to all sections Associate learning plans and PATs with the course so they are accessible to all faculty

  27. Learning Plans and PATs Curriculum the Faculty Owns – Shared or Not Curriculum the College Owns—Shared with all Faculty

  28. Share Learning Materials Upload and link related learning materials for sharing and storage

  29. Courses My Syllabi: • Belongs to the individual instructor • Uses course information (read only) to build a syllabus

  30. Syllabus Start with a copy of your previous syllabus Create a master syllabus as a starting point for other faculty

  31. Syllabus Start Date controls version of Course Information used for the Syllabus

  32. Read Only Course Information NO EDIT VIEW ONLY

  33. Syllabus Schedule Create Syllabus by day, week or session Add up to four customized columns

  34. Submit Syllabus for Approval

  35. Approve Syllabi and Archive Hotlink to Syllabus Reports Once approved cannot be deleted
