St. Louis Green Business Challenge – by the numbers • Over 150 companies, non-profit institutions and local governments – representing over 110,000 employees have participated in the Challenge since the program’s start in 2010 • 100% of 2013 Challenge companies formed Green Teams and 87% incorporated Sustainability Guidelines into daily operations • 72% of 2013 participants established education programs for employees, promoting Green strategies in the workplace and at home • 70% of 2013 participants adopted a Green Purchasing Policy, helping to transform procurement processes and supply chains • THESE COMPANIES’ RESOURCES ARE AVAILABLE TO YOU!

St. Louis Green Business Challenge – by the numbers • 62% of 2013 companies pledged to reduce building energy consumption by at least 10% - 23% of these achieved that goal • 56% of 2013 companies pledged to reduce waste by 25%23% of these achieved that goal • 24 companies began Biodiversity strategies to enhance property management with native plants and water conserving measures, while reducing landscaping costs • 10 companies earned LEED, Sustainable SITES or ENERGY STAR certification in 2013’s High Performance Building Initiative • THESE COMPANIES’ RESOURCES ARE AVAILABLE TO YOU!
