  2. EMT 111- Electronic Devices WHAT IS ELECTRONIC DEVICES • Concerned with or using devices that operate on principles governing the behavior of electrons such as: • Diode • Transistor • Integrated Circuit (IC)

  3. EMT111-Electronic DevicesWHY YOU NEED TO LEARN THIS COURSE? • The electronic gadgets such as cellular phones, wireless LANs, computer and audio system exist as a result of advance electronic technology nowadays. • Electronic systems are consist of variety of components and each of these components operates according to one or more fundamental principles. • To operate with these system, we need to learn the components and principles that are common to all of them. • This course serves as a foundation for the next course.

  4. EMT 111- Electronic Devices COURSE OUTCOMES • CO1 : Ability to understand the fundamental concept of electronic device. • CO2 : Ability to recognize the basic operation of electronic devices such as diodes, BJT and FET transistors. • CO3 : Ability to design and analyze the basic biasing circuits using data sheets. • CO4 : Ability to apply both theoritical and practical aspect of electronic devices application.
