  1. Using RefWorks Exporting References from EWU Libraries’ Online Catalog Eastern Washington University Libraries

  2. First: Search the EWU Libraries online catalog and save your references

  3. Save references to a list by clicking the “Save to List” button

  4. The “Save to List” button appears in the top and bottom navigation rows in the full display for a title

  5. Items you have saved will have an “In Saved List” button

  6. The “In Saved List” button also appears in the top and bottom navigation rows in the full display for a title

  7. Click on “View Saved List” to export

  8. Click on “Export Saved”

  9. Select End-Note/RefWorks Save to “Local Disk” Click “Select All” link or choose which titles you want

  10. Click the “Submit” button

  11. Internet Explorer gives you this screen Click on the “Save” button

  12. Firefox gives you this screen • Select “Save File” • Click on the “OK” button

  13. 1. Select where you want to save the file 3. Click on the “Save” button 2. Name the file

  14. Second: Import the references in RefWorks

  15. Select “Import” from the References menu

  16. Select “Innovative Interfaces (EndNote/RefWorks Format)” as the Import Filter/Data Source

  17. Select “Eastern Washington University” as the Database

  18. Find and select the file using the “Browse…” button

  19. Optionally, choose the folder you want to put the references in

  20. Click on “Import”

  21. Success! Click on “View Last Imported Folder” to see the references
