  1. Quality Mechanical Face Seals & Duo Cone Seals from SAP Parts Mechanical face seals design come in a wide variety. These designs differ in the way they are driven, the choice of secondary seals, and the location of the springs. Mechanical face seals have all been designed to meet certain criteria in terms of application, cost, fit, ease of installation, and capability to seal. Those seals are fitted in Groove of retaining housing groove, to form the sealing at the adjoining faces. Seal Installation inside the Housing Groove: 1.For installation of Seal, arrange a cleaned and dry Seal, wiped housing. Put the Seal on the Housing 2.Hold the O– Ring in the Fixture. 3.Hold the Seal and O-Ring Firmly and take care O-Ring is not twisted. Locate that seal & tool on groove opening. 4.Press the fixture with even load on the Guide Plate, and experience the O–Ring insertion jerk, inside housing. Small Rings can be manually fixed, but for big rings apply even and gentle pressure around the rim of guide plate using wooden mallet.
