Setting Targets One district’s criteria . . . • Students who score above the end of the year mean for their grade level based on national norms specific to NWEA will meet their target by maintaining their status as above grade level by the end of the year. • Students who score at or between the beginning and end of the year means for their grade level based on national norms specific to NWEA will meet their target by increasing their RIT score by the end of the year. • Students who score below the beginning of the year mean for their grade level based on national norms specific to NWEA will meet their target by increasing their RIT score.
