Building the Kingdom • Why would I go to your website? • You gotta work it. • 10 considerations…in some order. • Market it • Minister with it (healing, addictions, factoids) • Link it to specific sexual issue orgs; be a resource • Store “Read Mores” for your emails • Register events with event softwares • eCommerce (stuff for sale) • blogs • fruitful but truthful…keep utmost integrity • Measure it/analyze it • Change it intentionally and strategically Egiving Systems

Top 10 searches…Andrew Jensen • The present top 10 visited sites are: • Yahoo (includes their search engine, home page & many related social networking sites, news, etc. etc.) • MSN • Google (#1 search engine) • YouTube.com (video site purchased by Google) • Live.com (MSN search engine) • MySpace.com (visitor total drops weekly) • Orkut.com (social networking site created by Google: 67 million members; has a big international following) • Baidu.com (Chinese search engine) • Wikipedia.org (the online user written encyclopedia—though sometimes half truth, half fiction) • Facebook.com (visitor total rises weekly—and its ranking in the top visited sites is expected to only continue to rise; attracts the huge teen/college age/young adult population in the US and now even beginning to attract professional business people) Egiving Systems

Care Net’s Client Focus • Bob Barnes from Raleigh PC (a client) said last Friday that: Care Net will:(1)  Create, manage and host a new website for us that will beprofessionally designed with high quality content and images to reach a targeted audience of college women who may be pregnant and considering abortion. (2) Invest in and manage a year long Internet advertising campaign to reach college aged women in the Raleigh area using Google keyword advertising and Facebook (the college MySpace)campus advertising. (3)  Provide 500 copies of our Morning After Pill brochures and 500 copies of our Before You Decide brochures. Egiving Systems

Emails lead the way… • Gather partner email addresses - at events, newsletter requests, online giving, email newsletter registration (see next slides) -prefer it to save money and speed communication especially prayer requests • News/Prayer/testimony updates • Promote the resources on the website • Giving/support opportunities • Sort emails by giver type, Church leaders etc. for targeted communications/appeals…just like mail. Tips on email success… • Basic format is for the busy reader • Clear/consistent subject line • Fix your “From” in Tools • Subject headers lead text • Subjects (short) • “Read Mores” (web site updated and archived) • Goal is to “see it all” in half a page • Nothing mysterious…use your busy self as a guide. Summary • Online giving is a result of online ministry. • Good online giving and website systems priced very well for this ministry are available. • What we don’t have yet is good web presence and “e”marketing of our abilities to clients or Church as a whole. (may take central leadership.) • Goal is to focus on bringing this ministry into the cyber age both for clients and to serve the Church (cyber or not) which really needs our anointing today if it is ever to be light again to this nation.
