Giving • Polio(2013-14 final) • $101,033 cash (2.6% decrease from 2012-13) • McLean led district with $27,045 • $10,000 DDF donated • Total Giving(2013-14 final) • $759,011 cash (10.4% increase over 2012-13) (sum of Annual, Polio, Endowment, and Grants giving to TRF) • $35,000 DDF ($25,000 to Peace Centers; $10,000 to Polio)

  6. Grants • District(2013-14) • $86,255 spent on 28 projects from 44 clubs • Typically $2,000 per club ($1,000 in 12-13) • Global(2013-14) • 6 new humanitarian grants involving 23 clubs, benefitting Cameroon, Zambia, India (2), Swaziland, South Africa • Used $119,344 of DDF on these 6

  8. Vocational Training Teams • 2013-14 • “MicheLo” VTT to Swaziland to address literacy (train the trainer) and provide dental health support to a school for the disabled • Resulted from GSE visit to District 9250 in 2006-07 • Funded by Global Grant

Ongoing Efforts • 2014-15 District Grant Application • 41 clubs have submitted for 23 projects • Evaluating applications now; all look acceptable • Still receiving late 2013-14 club reports • Foundation Grant Management Qualification • 40 clubs attended this session at May District Training Assembly; some still owe signed MOU and Addendum • 15 clubs need today’s final makeup session, 13 are here • Foundation Goals in Rotary Club Central • Only 24 of 55 clubs (44%) have entered Foundation goals • You can do this today during the Seminar!
