Sport England Framework for Sport in England Aim: To change the culture of sport & physical activity…in order to increase participation across all social groups leading to improvements in health and other social and economic benefits and providing the basis for progression into higher levels of performance

Active Surrey – Better Clubs A comprehensive development framework has been created, based on a drive to build a sporting community that has the enthusiasm, confidence and capability of helping to make Surrey a more active and successful sporting county as well as the core themes of: • Fairness in sport • Equality of opportunity • Safe and high quality sporting environments. Opportunities for us to access: • Development workshops • Funding • Club Development Officer

  7. Recommendations Development Level 1 These clubs have been highlighted as those to work with in creating development plans. Each is accompanied by a brief rationale for their inclusion in Level 1. Recommendations Development Level 2 Not all clubs can be worked with at Level 1, but it is recommended that we should be able to guarantee a certain level of service to any student, joining any club. Minimum Operating Standards • Constitution • Committee Minutes • AGM Minutes • Annual Accounts report • NGB Affiliation • Membership List • Code of conduct • Risk Assessment (regular activity) • Attendance at Officer Training • Attendance at First Aid Training
