DADDS Updates • What’s New • PDT Validation (Time and Channel Conflict Checking) • Not yet rolled out to batch environment • Channel STATS Tab (available to all Users) • Process STATS Tab (available to all Users) • Channels (CDT’s) • System Use Agreements (SUA’s) • Groups (display to all users, edit for NOAA) • NWSTG Distribution via TCP/IP (replacing legacy x.25) almost complete • More Filters • Most displays allow filters for every grid item • Admin Pages Display SUA’s and Group Names for Sorting users and groups • New Web Page Design NOAA GOES DCS

Use of International Channels • NESDIS Assigned International Channels 1-11by CGMS • In our channel scheme 201-222 • Assigned for domestic use • Some manufacturers able to use with no changes • Some needed to make software changes • NESDIS making assignments on those channels when no other slots available • If we make an assignment and you have difficulty using it, contact us and we will TRY to move you NOAA GOES DCS

  5. User Requirements Study • Draft of 2 Documents Completed • Some Changes In Progress • Will be Posted on the Web when new drafts are completed • Discussion later in the meeting NOAA GOES DCS

DOMSAT Status • Final Option Year of DOMSAT contract exercised • Frequency change to 11987.2 mhz completed on 10/31 • 2011 funded by NOS, USGS, BLM and USACE • MOU’s set up for BLM and USACE • USGS made “quid pro quo” arrangement with NOS • NOS funds directly tapped through procurement documents (means no MOU required) • NESDIS considering combining with larger NESDIS contract for DOMSAT services with one option year left • Follow on contracts probably combined • Study delayed by L-Band Reallocation Activity • First draft of report received • Still many questions need to be answered for follow on NOAA GOES DCS

Operational Activities Major activities DADDS development NSOF DADDS deployment Transition of operations from GOES-12 to GOES-13 as the operational East satellite Installation of 2 LRGS’s at NSOF nlrgs1 nlrgs2 Data Outage at WCDA 11/9/2010 1945-2030 Failure of RT-A while RT-B was being loaded with new software LRGS’s backfilled from other sites NSOF undergoing antennae modifications at the same time NOAA GOES DCS
