The First motors rotates the one grating

iBTF Control. For iBTF control, we have 3 independent motors. The First motors rotates the one grating. And the third motor ( behind the instrument ) make the light beans parallel. The second do the same , making both parallel. What kind of motors is this ???

  1. iBTF Control For iBTF control, we have 3 independent motors. TheFirstmotorsrotatestheonegrating Andthethird motor (behindtheinstrument) makethe light beansparallel. Thesecond do thesame, makingbothparallel. Whatkindofmotors is this??? It’s a Mitsubishi servo motor with 1/20 reduction gear. These motors have 262,144 pulses/revolution giving 7,281pulses/degree!

  2. iBTF Software Control It’s a verysimple interface software, betweentheuser (orother software) andthemotors Makeconectionwiththe PLC Theotherway to use this software, is controlling it remotlyon TCP-IP connection. TheiBTF Software Controlcanbecompletlyopperateremotly Youjustputyouanglehere Andclick GO button Putthecalibrationconstrain (alwaysthesame) Youjust set upthe communication port Theotherbuttons is used to calibratetheiBTFandthe software and hardware.

  3. Risk of colisions between the grating Butweneed more securitystages, becausethemotorsdriverscanbroken (for exemple) orbecomeuncontrolled. This is a open questionyet. Wehaveoneidea: As a 1st level interlock, the software calculates the distance between both gratings to avoid collisions. This grating translates to keep the light-path on axis. There is a risk of collision between the gratings Put switch in the corners HINTS ARE WELCOME!!!
