  5. Orientation Course Expectations • Be on time and ready to go each class • Turn off or mute cell phones • No cell phone use during class • Treat this learning experience as a work ethic • Housekeeping – “leave it cleaner than you found it” • Homework is due the next scheduled session

Orientation Course Expectations – cont • Take Notes – paper or electronic • Ask Questions – the only stupid question is the question not asked • Quizzes – unannounced and will cover nor more than the last four sessions • Breaks – one or two breaks per session • Need Help – ask and schedule time • Integrity – a requirement

  9. Orientation Grading • Final Exam is course comprehensive • Text 1 1-5, Test 1 is 20% of Overall • Text 1 6-9, Test 2 is 20% of Overall • Text 2 1-3, Test 3 is 10% of Overall • Final Exam is 30% of Overall • Assignments are 10% of Overall • Quizzes are 10% of Overall
