  2. The first working computer was invented in 1976 by Steve Jobs and Steve Wozniak. It was called apple.

  3. How the term “debug” came about. • A retired Navy Admiral named Grace Murray Hopper found a moth in his computer.

What year the internet started.And who invented it. • The internet came out in the 1980’s but wasn’t popular until the the 1990’s when it became very popular and had a dramatic impact on common culture. • The internet was invented by The Internet was originally developed by DARPA - the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency - as a means to share information on defense research between involved universities and defense research facilities.

  5. Details about Babbage Analytical Engine • The Analytical Engine borrowed the idea to use punch codes to print calculating results.Babbage’s Analytical Engine was used in homes, and was a better and more accurate way to calculate in the early stages of calculating.

  6. What Herman Hollerith’s tabulating machine was invented for • The machine was developed to help process the data for the 1890 census.

What was the ENIAC built for and where • It was invented to calculate artillery firing tables for US Army Ballistic Research Laboratory. • ENIAC was built in the Moore School of Electrical Engineering of the University of Penn. Designed and built under the supervision of John Mauchly and J. Presper Eckert.

  8. Program what is it? • An organized list of instructions that when preformed, causes the computer to act in a predetermined matter.

  9. What is the benefit of the transistor replacing vacuum tubes? • The vacuum tube, used to amplify music and voice, made long-distance calling practical, but the tubes consumed power, created heat and burned out rapidly, requiring high maintenance.

  10. What and Who invented the fist microcomputer • Steve Wozniak and Steve Jobs in vented the apple 2 and this was the microcomputer.

  11. Binary System • Binary is a numeric system which uses two numerals to represent all real numbers. While the most common counting system, the decimal system, uses ten numerals, binary uses only 0 and 1.
