  2. The 4 R’s Class Motto • Respect yourself. • Respect your classmates. • Respect your teacher. • Respect the materials.

  3. Classroom Rules • Be a Top Scholar. • Raise your hand to talk. • Push in your chair when you get up. • Work quietly. • Sit properly. • Walk in the classroom. • Always try your best.

  4. Consequences Students who misbehave will be corrected by the following: • Warning • Behavior Contract • 5 minutes off of recess for a talk with the teacher • Parent phone call home • Office

  5. Good Behavior • Students with good behavior get their name on the board. • Students with good behavior may receive tickets. • Students with good behavior may receive a phone call home. • One student with good behavior will get to sit at the teachers desk for independent reading/work.

  6. Tickets 1. Students get tickets for: • Good behavior • Answering problems correctly • Outstanding job in class 2. At the end of each week students have the opportunity to redeem their tickets at the treasure box. 3. Students can save their tickets for bigger prizes.

  7. Classroom Points • Class can earn points as a whole. • If the class earns 100 points, they get to have 15 minutes of free time. • Class is awarded points for exceptional class behavior.

  8. Homework • Students get a star for each day they turn in their homework. • At the end of the month if students have 15+ stars, they will receive a homework award.

  9. Classroom Jobs Each week students get to help with following tasks: • Bellhops (2) • Office Monitor (1) • Line Leader (1) • Board Erasers (2) • Hamster Handler (1)
