What this means for Students • No physical location in Georgia after December 2008 • Students would be considered “site-less” students • All courses will be broadcast either via videostream methods or web-based using Blackboard • Academic advisor will now be Ron Woodard (rwoodard@odu.edu)
Degree Completion • Students must check in with Ron Woodard for advising issues before each registration period • Students must have the minimal hardware requirements to videostream a class • Students must choose either VS7 or WEB7 CRN’s. There will no longer be Athens specific CRN numbers.

How to send assignments • Place a course assignment cover sheet on each assignment • Mail documents via certified mail (preferred method) to: • Old Dominion UniversityDistance Education127 Gornto Center- Mail DistributionNorfolk, VA. 23529
What about Exams? • Exams may be proctored by a local library, education center (UGA, Athens Tech), etc. • Student must submit a proctor request form prior to exams • Exams will be mailed from ODU to the proctor
Returning Exams • Exams will be returned by the proctor ONLY • Students must provide the proctor with proper mailing labels/postage and envelope
Graduation • Must have taken and passed the Writing Sample Placement Test and the Exit Exam (preferably before the site closes) • Must take the Senior Assessment • Must Apply for Graduation by the deadlines that can be found online • For more questions you may e-mail graduate@odu.edu
