WiMAX 晶片系統實試及前瞻 MIMO OFDMA技術平台開發 • 完成時速300公里高鐵實測之WiMAX (802.16e)晶片與系統,下載可達3~5Mbps之傳輸率 • 提供IEEE 802.16m/LTE等4G無線通信互通測試與架構驗證之系統平台。 • WiMAX晶片與系統之論文“A MIMO WiMAX SoC in 90nm CMOS for 300Km/h mobility”於ISSCC 2011發表,實測系統並獲選為ISSCC 2011 Industrial Demo 項目之一。 自由日報: 多天線WiMAX單晶片研發成功 高鐵上網有望【11/25】 由工研院研發的多天線WiMAX單晶片,功能相等於3.9G無線網卡,突破目前在高鐵無法上網的困境,可在高鐵行駛300公里時速上網,至少達5Mb的傳輸速率,也就是說,在高鐵全速奔馳的速度,仍可維持平均6秒至7秒下載一首MP3歌曲。這項研發已入選明年國際固態電路研討會(ISSCC)的發表論文。 中國時報:「時速三百公里多天線WiMAX單晶片」【11/25】由工研院資通所和台大教授闕志達共同合作,多天線WiMAX單晶片在高鐵列車三百公里時速下,至少達5Mb的傳輸速率。也就是說,在高鐵全速行駛下,六秒鐘內可下載完成一首MP3歌曲 5
