  4. Kale’s Activities • Day 1…………………………………….Scuba Diving Fiji is one of the world’s most popular tropical dive destinations and much of this interest is due to the superb diving in the north around Taveuni, the Ringgold Atolls, Rabi and Kioa’s acclaimed reefs. Here we find reefs ablaze with every color of the rainbow, as multi-hued soft corals and fish feed in the tidal currents. Add to this clear, warm tropical waters and you have truly world-class diving.

  5. Day 2…………………………Kayaking Kayaking is one of the greatest ways to explore and discover the beauty of nature. From the seat of your kayak, you can explore a sunken volcanic crater in the Ringgold Atolls. Another day you’ll explore a jungle river that takes you into the rainforest interior of an island. And on another day you’ll follow the rugged Taveuni coast, counting waterfalls, and then paddle up a creek and into a series of 3 waterfalls.

  6. Day 3………………………………Whitewater Rafting Raft through tropical jungle forests, Grade 1 rapids and water cascades of Navua River as you keep your eyes open for the abundance of exotic wildlife.

  7. Day 4…………………………………………Snorkeling With its warm clear waters, amazing coral reefs and a diverse array of marine life, snorkeling in Fiji is simply the best. Home to three different kinds of reefs found here (barrier reefs, fringing reefs and atolls) Fiji is often referred to as the ‘Soft Coral Capital of the World.’ The underwater visibility here is superb at over 30 meters, with May through October being the best time to go snorkeling.

  8. Day 5………………………………………….Surfing In Fiji, good surfing points are reef breaks, and to most of the surfing points you have to go by boat in Fiji.

  9. Day 6……………………………………….......GAME FISHING Fishing in FIJI is favored all year round. There is simply great fishing for everyone! All methods of game fishing are available in Fiji .

  10. Day 7………………………………………………..Hiking Fiji is an excellent place for hiking. There are literally thousands of trails around the islands that connect villages, traverse peaks and lead to waterfalls. Most are known only to the local villagers but a few have been opened up for tourism. Several areas have been declared as National Parks and offer well maintained trails, visitor centers and dedicated accommodation.

  11. Day 8……………………………………….Caving There are underground adventures for all interests and cavers of all levels with deep caving to beautiful limestone formations scattered throughout. Experienced cavers claim The South Pacific caves are up there with the best caving systems in the world.

  12. Day 9…………………………………………Fiji Culture Music is woven into the fabric of Fiji and the Meke embraces traditional song and dance to tell of legends, love stories, history and spirits of the islands. It can vary from a blood-curdling spear dance to a gentle and graceful fan dance.

  13. Day 10…………………………………… Yaqona Yaqona (pronounced yangona) is Fiji's national drink. It's made from the pulverized root of a member of the pepper family. It's believed to have medicinal qualities (apart from making you feel mellow). Legend has it that the ceremony came from Tonga where the plant sprang from the grave of a Tongan princess who died of a broken heart. In a formal yaqona ceremony authority is given by the village spokesman to begin mixing the kava. When mixed, a server will carry a cup ('bilo') to the chief guest, who must clap ('cobo') once before and after completely drinking the first cup. The order of serving depends on the status of those present, from the highest-ranking chief down.

  14. Day 11…………………………………… The LOVO This is a magnificent feast, cooked in the earth. It's like a barbeque, only a little more smoked, and a very efficient way to cook large quantities of food at the same time.

  15. Day 12…………………………………………………Golf The Pearl Championship Fiji Golf Course & Country Club is set amongst tropical rainforests and winding canals, with 66 bunkers and multiple water hazards on 12 of the 18 holes.

  16. Day 13………………Garden of the Sleeping Giant The Garden of the Sleeping Giant sits at the foothills of the Nausori Highlands about 10 minutes drive north of Nadi. The attractive landscaped gardens specialize in Fiji's native plants as well as housing an impressive collection of orchids, some native. A jungle walk takes visitors past a large lily pond and through native forest.
