  3. COLLABORTATION & PARTNERSHIPs • Increased collaboration across district incorporating STEM activities at all age levels • Increase in communication –vertically • Outside partnerships • (Corning, MMSI, Haystack Observatory, MOS,STEM2) • iSense PLC UMass Lowell

  4. Training and Networking • NSTA attendance • BioTeach Workshop attendance • MA STEM2Elementary • Training for 2014-15- EIE Museum of Science workshop • MMSI AP Training • PLTW Training (2 new engineering courses DHS 2014-15)

  5. Reflections • Increased collaboration = Increased confidence and capacity of teachers to bring STEM activities into the classroom • Results: Increase in student excitement about “doing” science, math and engineering
