  4. Student Recruitment- The Big Picture HIGHLIGHT REEL • Celebrating our 40th Anniversary this year. Established in 1971 and officially opened in 1975. • We are home to more than 43,000 students from over 131 countries • Griffith offers more than 300 degrees including undergraduate degrees, postgraduate and research degrees • ERA’s highest possible rating of ‘5’, reserved for outstanding research, has been awarded to physical sciences, specifically quantum physics, and dentistry at Griffith. Places us a top ten research university in Australia. • More than 110,000 graduates from over 156 countries have passed through our doors • The prestigious QS World University Rankings places Griffith in the top 300 universities in the world, which means we are in the top 5% of universities in the world Student Recruitment

Student Recruitment- The Big Picture Recruitment Engagement Metrics • This year we anticipate that our team will see over 39 000 of your students with a target of 250 visits • Additionally, if we included all the regional career makets,TSXPO, Options Events and Open Day , the SR team will engage with an additional 53, 410 prospective students and influencer groups. Transition Year 12 Presentations – New for 2012 • The Student Recruitment team will be actively promoting and delivering a Change of Preference /Transition to Uni In-School Presentation for your year 12 cohorts. The presentation will overview important key dates, preferencing models, and cover key transitioning issues for your year 12s. Student Recruitment

Student Recruitment- The Big Picture 2011 Semester 1 Admission Round • Overall marginal increase in demand for CSP in QLD for 2011 increasing from 57,451 in 2010 to 57,563 in 2011. • This is the highest number of applicants for the last decade and improves on the significant upswing in 2010. • Griffith also had higher cutoffs in majority of program areas( FOEs) eg. Bachelor of Biomedical Science increasing to OP7 from an OP10. • Griffith university first preferences also increased • Detailed and comprehensive information will be delivered during the Admissions Presentation.   7. Events and Communications Update Experience Day Program • Allows students to sample our courses and be a university student for a day • A range of programs are held at various campuses over a period of a week • Open to senior students, in years 10, 11 and 12 Student Recruitment
