  1. Welcome to this edition of: ROCKSTAR WEEKLY! Reading/Language Arts: This week we will begin SuperSTAARBootcamp. We will be working hard on reading comprehension. Their packet will be due on Friday 18th, first thing in the morning. They will wrap up their BFG Paper this week, it is due on Friday the 21st. n the next two weeks Spelling: This week they will bring home a STAAR Vocabulary spelling sheet. They will be tested over these words Friday the 28th. Social Studies: This week, we begin to study the Preamble of the Constitution. Math: This week they will learn equations, area and perimeter. Science: They have a test on Thursday over Fossil Fuels and Alternative Energy. They will measure capacity, volume, and length. Upcoming Dates: Wednesday is Spring Picture Day! Thursday- Morris Brothers Assembly. Friday- SuperSTAAR HW Reading Due
