  1. Determining Probability Using Spinners to Predict Outcomes Today we’re going to play a spinner game and make predictions about which color will get picked the most times. Let’s get started! Next Page

  2. Now it’s your turn to play! Click the spinner when you see it. Before you do, press the ‘Windows’ key on your keyboard. Do you see the PowerPoint icon at the bottom of the page? C C This icon is in the “task bar.” Click on the icon to return to this show anytime. Go ahead and practice this, then go to the next page. Next Page

  3. Go Back Next Page Before you play, be sure to click “Change Spinner” and click the arrows to show 4 purple, 3 yellow, 2 green, and 1 red and orange. Then click “Apply.” Do this, then return here >

  4. Go Back Next Page Finally, click on “Record Results” BEFORE you play. C Now click , then to start spinning! Let’s see if your prediction is accurate! After you spin 20 times, fill in your third bar graph.

  5. Now compare your prediction from the second bar graph with the results from the third. Was your prediction accurate? I hope so! C To exit this Power Point show, just press the escape key. Go Back
