There are different kinds of nouns.

For some nouns, you can see them but you add s to them when there are more than one. These are called countable nouns.

For some nouns, you can see them but you do not add s to them because- they are difficult to count- you can’t count them

These are called uncountable nouns

For some nouns, you can’t see them because they are abstract ideas. They are uncountable nouns too. You don’t add s to them.
