  2. MALTA Malta is a small country in the middle of the Mediterranean Sea, until 1964 was a colony of the United Kingdom, from that time, was an independent country and in 2004 became part of the European Union.

  3. ¿WHAT TO VISIT IN MALTA? • The small country has three islands, Malta, the largest, Gozo and Comino and has many interesting places to visit and sightseeing. • One such site is Valletta, the capital of the island, declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.

  4. In Valletta we find the Cathedral of San Juan, called St. Johns Co-Cathedral built by the Knights of the Order of Malta between 1573 and 1578. Is one of the most important and beautiful buildings in the small republic.

  5. The Fort of San Telmo is one of the most visited places in the small island. It is a fortress built to protect the city of Valletta from enemy attacks. From there you will have a wonderful view of the Maltese coast and the Mediterranean Sea
