  3. What does it mean? • Words that you use to describe your desert may also be words that you feel describe your life. • A lush hospitable dessert with lots of water or oases indicates optimism. A desert that is harsh and forbidding indicates pessimism. • The way you see your desert can become a self-fulfilling prophecy.

Desert Decor • Palm trees – sources of support, shelter, nourishment • Water – emotional nourishment • Mirages – “life illusions” enjoy fantasy or mystery, perhaps disapointments in your past, people who have tricked you • Dunes – suggestive of sensuality • Mountains – Spirituality, transcendent experiences

  5. Palm Trees • sources of support, shelter, nourishment • Suggests a trust that the world will provide • Could suggest a “money tree” • More palm trees can suggest affluence of faith in the abundance of the universe

  6. Water • Water – emotional nourishment • A presence or feeling of love • Excess of water, like an ocean, can indicate a “life’s a beach” attitude

Storm Details • Clouds – depression or apprehension • Rain – sadness, greif, discouragement • Wind – opposition, opportunity • Thunder – conflict, anger, noisy person in your life during angry times • Lightning – breakthrough, possible inspiration or enlightenment, friction of conflict • Tornadoes – unpredictable violence, trauma that strikes suddenly with no warning

Sandstorms – confusion, painful, overwhelming, you may feel humiliated, mocked, buried under problems • Rainbows – hope , relief, success • Storm coming closer – problem headed your way, but chance to prepare • Inside the cube – inner turmoil, cry for help, most frightening place for the storm to be • Out of sight – good fortune, denial, “out of sight, out of mind”

Flower Details • By the base of the cube – “under your wing”, a common place for young children • On top of the cube – you are supporting the children, • Growing all over the cube – dependent, your pride and joy • Inside the cube – possibly pregnant, filled with longing for a child, overprotective of children
