Terrorism is… • violence to intimidate a population or government and thereby effect political, religious or ideological change • Acts of terrorism are not intended to merely victimize or eliminate those who are killed, injured or taken hostage but rather to intimidate and influence the societies to which they belong.

  3. Al-Queda • Against anyone who is not muslim • Multiple terrorist attacks against the U.S including 9-11 • Deep hatred for the U.S.

  4. September 11 • Twin Towers • Pentagon • 4th plane • killed 2,997

  5. Airport Security • Is a reason for the crimes and terrorism in New York • In the 1970s the American airports had minimal security

  6. Democracy and terrorism • It may have been a new action movie…but no movie but cruel reality! • Forced interpretations of Koran • Terrorism is obnoxious, felonious and cawardly activity

  7. Freedom and democracy must be protected and defended. Nobody will give us it for FREE !!!
