  5. Successful Resident Involvement: • Helps you develop personal skills & knowledge • Gives you a voice and choice about your home and your life • Brings changes to services, residents, staff, communities & organisations • Demonstrates real partnership in action • Inspires others!

  8. Surveys • Often require a yes or no answer • Obtain limited or specific information • Are useful for specific topics • Take little time to complete • Can be completed by paper, over the phone or online - inclusive

  9. Focus/Working Groups • Bring people face to face to talk, share ideas & personal experiences • Focus on a key area or service • Require a time commitment

  10. Community Events & Activities • Gives people an opportunity to meet, helps develop relationships and are fun • Gives housing providers an opportunity to meet a greater number of residents in a relaxed atmosphere
