In 1982, Rick Kahler founded NWP and in 2018, ownership was transferred to James Kahler, Rick's eldest son. NWP has worked with clients like Microsoft, Boeing, Google and Nordstrom, and it has millions of dollars of contracts scheduled for coming years.

  4. In the US Builder’s Review author E.C. Gregg highlighted the beginnings of Northwest Partitions: “Before Kahler’s father, Rick Kahler, started the business in 1982, he was working as an estimator for a contractor that is now one of Northwest Partitions’ competitors. When Kahler said he wanted to become a partial owner and the owners refused he decided it was time to strike out on his own. That’s when he started Northwest Partitions.”
