  2. The King and His Kingdom • 14 Now after John had been taken into custody, Jesus came into Galilee, preaching the gospel of God, 15 and saying, “The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand; repent and believe in the gospel.” (Mark 1:14-15)

  3. The Kingdom of God • The Lord has established His throne in the heavens, and His sovereignty rules over all. (Psalm 103:19) • The Lord sat as King at the flood; Yes, the Lord sits as King forever. (Psalm 29:10) • For the Lord Most High is to be feared, a great King over all the earth. (Psalm 47:2)

The Kingdom of God • 12 “When your days are complete and you lie down with your fathers, I will raise up your descendant after you, who will come forth from you, and I will establish his kingdom. 13 He shall build a house for My name, and I will establish the throne of his kingdom forever… 16 Your house and your kingdom shall endure before Me forever; your throne shall be established forever.” (2 Samuel 7:12-13, 16)

The Kingdom of God • 13 “I kept looking in the night visions, and behold, with the clouds of heaven One like a Son of Man was coming, and He came up to the Ancient of Days and was presented before Him. 14 And to Him was given dominion, glory and a kingdom, that all the peoples, nations and men of every language might serve Him. His dominion is an everlasting dominion which will not pass away; and His kingdom is one which will not be destroyed.” (Daniel 7:13-14)

  6. The Kingdom of God • 13 For He rescued us from the domain of darkness, and transferred us to the kingdom of His beloved Son, 14 in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins. (Colossians 1:13-14) • “May Your kingdom come, Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.” (Matthew 6:10)

  7. The Time is Fulfilled • 14 Now after John had been taken into custody, Jesus came into Galilee, preaching the gospel of God, 15 and saying, “The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand; repent and believe in the gospel.” (Mark 1:14-15)

(Isaiah 55:6-7) • “The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand; repent and believe in the gospel.” (Mark 1:15)

Repentance for Believers • 4 “But I have this against you, that you have left your first love. 5 Therefore remember from where you have fallen, and repent and do the deeds you did at first; or else I am coming to you and will remove your lampstand out of its place—unless you repent.” (Revelation 2:4-5) • “Those whom I love, I reprove and discipline; therefore be zealous and repent.” (Revelation 3:19)

  14. Repentance and Faith • …“The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand; repent and believe in the gospel.” (Mark 1:15)
