  1. Student Data Review and Rosters (SDRR) v.2 Cohort Chris Williams Office of Standards, Assessment and Accountability (OSAA)

  2. Cohort • The Adjusted Cohort Graduation Rate data provides an accurate graduation model that follows students from their first year in high school through their expected cohort graduation school year. • The “4-year adjusted cohort graduation rate” is defined as the number of students who graduate in four years with a regular high school diploma divided by the number of students who entered high school four years earlier adjusting for transfers in and out, émigrés and deceased students.  • The “5-year adjusted cohort graduation rate” is defined as the number of students who graduate in five years with a regular high school diploma divided by the number of students who entered high school five years earlier adjusting for transfers in and out, émigrés and deceased. 3. Cohort– 4 and 5-Year • The 4 and 5-year Adjusted Cohort Graduation Rate is used to determine if the district/school met their graduation rate goals. • Schools with a 4-year graduation rate of less than 80 percent will be identified for Comprehensive Support and Improvement (CSI).  KDE:OSAA:jd & cw 6/26/19

  4. Accountability- 5-Star Rating KDE:OSAA:jd & cw 6/26/19

  5. Cohort Student Listing • Cohort opens in SDRR on July 10 at 9.a.m. ET and closes on August 9 at 5 p.m. ET. • Districts will be able to view the student listing. • Changes will be made in Infinite Campus (IC). • Cohort does not follow the 100 day accountability rule. • Cohort accountability goes to the A1, A5 or A6, etc. school where the student was last Primary enrolled, unless the student was a Verified Transfer or State accountable/ward of the state KDE:OSAA:jd & cw 6/26/19

  6. Cohort Student Listing-Continued • Cohort data is extracted from IC and loaded into SDRR monthly (not daily or weekly). Changes made in IC on or after that date will not be reflected in SDRR until Cohort data is reloaded the next month. • Cohort will reopen during Data Review in August to make accountability changes and verified transfer changes.
