  2. EMM 001 - FIRST AID KIT EMM 003 - CABIN CREW AMENITY KIT EMM 002 - ENHANCED FIRST AID OR BASIC MEDICAL KIT EMM 004 - THE RESUSCITATION KIT On-board medical kits Introducing the world-wide renowned Flightcare range of On-Board Medical Kits. Aeromedic have, over a period of time, extended their range of First Aid and Medical Kits to give Clients a greater choice in selecting that Kit which is appropriate for a particular purpose and requirement. A fundamental Kit that is nevertheless fully compliant with JAR1.745. This is suitable as a “no-frills” Kit for Short haul purposes. This is an enhanced version of the EMM 001 which far exceeds the minimum requirements of JAR 1.745, and yet still remains compliant. This is very much the favoured Kit of our Business/Corporate Regional Jet and Short haul Clients. This Kit has been designed for Cabin Crew to use as an alternative to opening either the First Aid or Enhanced First Aid Kit . This Kit contains those items that are used the most frequently and saves on costs associated with Refurbishment and Maintenance that would be incurred with the frequent opening of the other Kits. “Flight Care: Saving Time, Saving Money” Optional Extras: - Sprague - Rappaport Stethoscope Sphygmomanometer Cardio-Pump Contents used for resuscitation: - Resuscitation Bag Hand-held Aspirator Pulse Oximeter C.P.R. - Mask with O2 inlet valve

  3. EMM 005 - ENHANCED MEDICAL (HEALTH PROFESSIONAL’S) KIT EMM 006 - AIRFREIGHTER KIT KIT MOUNTING OR HOUSINGS On-board medical kits This Kit is the top of the range Medical Kit which fully complies with JAR 1.745 and, indeed, far exceeds the minimum content specified by these regulations. It is recognised as being one of the most advanced Kits of its type in the world and has received much acclaim over the years. It is The Medical Kit of choice for all Long haul operations. A Kit that has been uniquely designed and fabricated for the personal use of Crew in Air Freighters. The contents are sufficient to deal with the most likely of minor medical incidences but are not as comprehensive where the requirements are either regulated, or, deemed necessary for passenger use. “Flight Care: Saving Time, Saving Money” For use with the Enhanced Medical/Doctor's Kit EMM 005 and First Aid Kit EMM 002. With the aid of fixing screws and straps, these provide a secure yet easy accessible environment for each sized kit. They may be fixed to an overhead bin-locker, dogbox, bulkhead or any other suitable location.

  14. Technical Specifications Overview Kits are manufactured on an aluminium (lightweight and heavy-duty) frame according to the unique modular design formatted by the Aeromedic Innovations Group featuring the unique resusci™ - tray system. The kits are part of the EMM Flightcare Range. All designs are copyrighted. The kits are fabricated from materials, which are non-flammable, flame retardant and non-smoke so as to comply with C.A.A. and F.A.A. regulations. The Flightcare First Aid Kit EMM002 and Flightcare Enhanced Medical Kit EMM005 comply with the content specifications of JAR’s Europe 1.,745 and 1.755 of April 1998 respectively. The modular design provides for ease of identification and removal of contents and in a most user-friendly configuration particularly for use in medical emergency situations where speed is of the essence and spontaneous decisions are often required. The overall construction has been designed for high durability; being lightweight for ease of mobility; and to a size which may be used in restricted spaces in an “unfriendly environment”. The kit and contents may be fully customised to suit your precise requirement, yet still retaining the core modular design of the kit. “Flight Care: Saving Time, Saving Money”

  15. EMM 005 – Enhanced Medical Kit Of rigid design and of flame retardant, non-smoke; non-flam ABS – shells + trays and foams of CAF 16, or similar. There is a valve pressure relief device inserted in the side of the kit to allow for sudden decompression and the possible effect this would have on the contents. The kit comprises a number of compartments and trays. There is a lid compartment, lid divider, base compartment, and dependant on design, two or more trays in between. Each tray and the lid compartment, contains a foam suitably tooled and pre-cut to house the content requirements individually. A silk-screened overlay, identically tooled, of luminescent colour (orange, green and yellow) for darkened conditions, is affixed to each tray foam. Each product contained in the tray is labelled (by silk screen) as to size, strength, proprietary name and generic equivalent. (where appropriate). The lid compartment contains a high-density (close cell) foam with a plush nylon overlay. The base compartment if required may also be foamed. The foam is tooled to the requirements of the individual contents housed. There is a lid divider, (which holds the contents of the lid compartment in place) by means of hook and look straps (for easy opening). On the reverse side of the lid divider is a layout plan reflecting the contents of the, trays, and base compartments in order to locate each item. The lid divider has two elasticated straps attached for the use of storage of documents, a manual, and, small medical/surgical items together with any appropriate and relevant documentation required. “Flight Care: Saving Time, Saving Money” …. continued overleaf

  16. EMM 005 – Enhanced Medical Kit A lid flap is affixed to the lid compartment with a hook and loop closure and similarly bears a layout plan as to the contents of the lid compartment. Generally speaking, the lid compartment contents are designed for ‘cabin crew’ use only (where cabin crew are suitably trained to administer medications), and, the tray and base compartment for ‘physician use only’. Two protex locks are mounted externally for closure use with different coloured security seals. There is a security D-ring affixed to the lid shell. There is an externally mounted aluminium plate inscribed with details of carrier, unique engineering part number, kit number and “flexible” shelf-life expiry. External silk screens in two, three or four colours representing the description of the kit ‘and in your corporate lively and design are mounted on the external face of the lid, base, or both. The kit has 180 opening hinges or where required detachable hinges to allow for the base and lid sections to come apart. A carrying handle is mounted at varying positions on the kit to suit the purpose and overall features of the kit. An external “baggage type” tag is affixed to the carrying handle, which contains a list of the contents of the kit. Four rubber feet are mounted on one side of the kit to allow for stability in a free standing position. “Flight Care: Saving Time, Saving Money”
