Portal (web page) Pipeline Analysis of Biological Data with Taverna and R • Integrating portal and Taverna using NeISS Project (enactment of Taverna workflows via a portal): • a portlet for selecting a T2 workflow • a portlet for monitoring the status of the job submitted to a T2 Server and fetching results • a servlet for serving files that contain individual result data and the result Baclava file with all results of a workflow run. • Available for Liferay, Sakai etc • Workflow 1 • Workflow 2

Pipeline Analysis of Biological Data with Taverna and R • Integrating Taverna and Bioconductor using Rshell service: • Allows calling R scripts on an R server • The R server must have pre-installed the Rserve package and it must be loaded in both scripts • Workflow 1 • Workflow 2 • R script using “puma” for analysis • R script using “affy” for analysis
