  4. F.I.R.E.S.S • Your F.I.R.E.S.S don’t have to be true, but they should fit with the prompt, support your ideas, and be plausible/realistic. • Adequate support in each of your body paragraphs is one way to score higher on your Writes Upon Request and improve your writing.

  5. Practice • Writing Prompt: We all have a favorite subject to learn about. Think about one subject that is your favorite to learn about in school. Write to explain why that subject is your favorite.

  7. Introduction using a Creative Hook Is language arts interesting? Well, of course it is. I don’t know what I would do without my language arts class. Throughout the years, I have learned so much about writing and literature. For me, no other subject compares. Language Arts is my favorite subject because I love reading literature, I have a great teacher, and I learn how to improve my writing.

  8. 1st Body Paragraph First, lets talk about literature. It is the most intriguing thing in the world. Well, language arts class focuses mainly on literary works. Literature ranges from the great poetry of Langston Hughes to the interesting plays of William Shakespeare. I love poetry in particular because it shows emotion and the dedication of the person who wrote it. I remember sitting in language arts class one day when the teacher read us a humorous poem. From that day on, I loved going to language arts class.It is evident that language arts is by far the best because of the exposure to varying types of literature.
