  2. General information I • Deadline – 21st February, 2011 • new online applications in 2011 .pdf saved in your computer – final version is submitted to the system by a coordinator; copies sent to partners • application = same for all partners; filled together 2

  3. General information II • Each institution: • sends the copy to its NA by post • follows national administrative priorities • checks whether the application is signed by a legal representative 3

  4. General information III • Eligibility criteria: • consult the checklist in the application • done by NA staff • Quality evaluation of the application: • in coordinator´s institution NA • done by two experts – common European assessment form 4

General information IV • While writing the application: • Team work is crucial • Set „internal“ deadlines for all relevant tasks • Choose lead writer • Do not rush • Send final version to partners in time • Allow time for printing, translating and posting • Complete every section in the application 5

  6. Good application • clear objectives nad realistic outcomes • relevant topics/themes to the programme especially GRU • equal distribution of tasks among partners • good communication and cooperation among partners • clear and coherent workplan • ongoing evaluation • dissemination activities • exploitation of outcomes

  7. Main problems in the applications • not all questions answered • general answers • planning is unrealistic, vague or too ambitious • the work programme does not cover the whole eligible period • unbalanced roles of partners • lack of evaluation/dissemination • only mobilities are planned

  8. Suggestions • Follow instructions written by your NA • Take part in training seminars organised by NAs • Ask advice from your local expert/colleague • Ask advice from experienced institution 8
