  1. Low Self-esteem survey results To gain our data we made a survey. The survey contained questions that were about the applicant and their opinion of what could be the reason for low self-esteem. While going over the surveys we found two surveys that were invalid, because the people lied on their surveys, therefore we could not use there answers.

  2. Our hypothesis We believe that the cause of low self-esteem would be the environment a person is in.

  3. The Females

  4. 1.) Are you dependent on other’s opinion of you? Out of all the females only 1 12th grader said that they were dependent on other’s opinion.

  5. 2.) Do you consider yourself independent? Out of all the females only 1 12th grader said that they weren’t independent

  6. 3.) Do you like to work by your self? Out of all the females only 1 adult said that they liked to work my themselves.

  7. 4.) Are you comfortable with the people you hang out with and your surroundings? Out of all the females only 1 9th grader and 1 12 grader said that they weren’t comfortable with the people they hang around and their surroundings.

  8. 5.)Do you worry about your appearance?

  9. 6.)What kind of behavior do you have? Out of all the females only 1 11th grader said that they had a negative behavior.

  11. 8.)How is your relationship ( with anyone)? As you can see every female said that they have a strong relationship with someone.

  12. II. Which factors most influence low self-esteem students

  13. As you may have noticed there weren’t any 10th graders in the results of the females, because there was not an 10th grade applicants.

  24. Conclusion After it was all said and done, we found that our hypothesis was correct. Based off of our results the majority agreed that the environment was the cause of low self esteem.
